The lawn mower is an essential tool; however, it is rarely properly maintained. The first tip is to sharpen the lawn mower blades in addition to performing an oil and air filter changes. Dull blades will create an unevenly cut lawn, which gives the impression that it is neglected.

Weeds are unsightly and diligence is required to keep a lawn free of weeds. Pull weeds before the weeds have the opportunity to seed and spread. Herbicides will help to kill weeds and prevent the weeds from spreading. When pulling weeds, it is imperative to pull them from the root.

I have been talking alot about Midwest issues. In fact, Midwest Lawn Care Tips are one of the more important ideas that i look into each year. in fact, I have recently decided that indiana is the main hub of the lawn care and landscaping inudstry.

Some of you will wonder why. The truth is that there is so much more cool stuff that goes on during the spring, summer and fall in the Midwest and this is more true in Indiana than anywhere else. FOr example, Crown Point Indiana is the hub of Lake County Indiana.

The thing is here guys, is that you can really make an impact in yor midwest community if you will just start up a site and staret blogging about it. I nkow that sounds wierd, but is really is a truth.

Indiana Politics Heating Up

If you have been listening, then you have heard that NIndiana Indiana news. It’s been covered in NWI and online and we are not quite sure it this is an issue or not. We will definitely watch NWI Twitter streams and see if anything pops up that is noteworthy.

Please keep in mind, this is all just something that is fun for me, and I don’t really get involved too often in these forts of things.

On October 31st of 1834, Solon Robinson and his family become first settlers to an area that later became Crown Point. Robinson funded the first county courthouse, which was built in the summer of 1837 and cost $500.

Crown Point has several historic claims-to-fame. It hosted the Cobe Cup Car Race (a precursor to the Indianapolis 500), which was won by Louis Chevrolet. Also, the Lake County Courthouse became a well-known “marriage mill,” uniting record-breaking numbers of couples and famous couples such as Rudolph Valentino and Winifred DeWolfe.

Over the years, Crown Point has done well to preserve its small town heritage through it preservation of its courthouse and historic homes. Yet Crown Point continues to expand through commercial, industrial and residential development. NWI Crown Point News
